Potty Training Resources

When starting potty training it can be a little scary. Every child is different so there is no correct way to potty train! We can identify signs to help us know when a child may be ready to start training.
  • Dry Diaper - checking their diaper after 45 minutes and finding a dry diaper is one sign your child may be ready
  • Showing interest - this means your child may want to go to the bathroom, wear underwear, or tries sitting on the potty
  • Age- usually around the age of 2 child have better control of their Blatter and understand the concept of using the potty
If you think you are ready to try potty training at home, being consistent is a great way to have more success. To the right there are two YouTube clips of a mom we found that was able to have success in a short four days! We really loved her approach and ideas. Being Quarantined makes it a little easier to start potty training, because being in one place for most the day makes it easier to take consistent trips to the bathroom.
